If you've ever seen a fantasy anime, or played a lot of mmorpgs, that's basically what you can expect here. Swords, magic, dragons, etc. It's also a comedy based around a serious story that takes place within their world. Unlike TDA/ZERO, there aren't any no-magic zones, since strategy doesn't play as much of a role in this series. Magic can hurt people, but it can only kill monsters, it's most effectively used paasively for healing, debuffing, or summoning.
The main conflict is that the protagonist was summoned from our world into the world of a fantasy anime. He will disappear if he does not make it back to the real world before the season finale, because there won't be a second season. He also has to put up with everything he doesn't like about anime, which he doesn't realize is a problem at first, but over time it has a bigger impact on his life than he first thought.
The secondary conflict is a typical conflict for a fantasy setting. A dragon is terrorizing the hometown of the protagonist so he assembles a group of friends to defeat it. There is a group of mysterious people that wants to stop them while remaining mysterious, and a master manipulator is pulling the strings behind everything to acomplish some evil scheme. This should be nothing new to most otakus, which is why we have the primary conflict as well
